By using a technique known as "nature printing," which involves pressing each specimen into a plate of soft lead and creating an electrotype from its impression, Henry Bradbury created botanical representations of seaweeds discovered in English waters in 1859. These are essentially unadulterated natural representations of the plant, free of artistic interpretation. Our meticulous reproductions faithfully preserve the originals' intricate details.
